Am a young guitarist wanting to form a band. Well I'm thinking creating a band with people who really love Jesus! Well of course i need a drummer and bassist, but other stuff like keyboardist, saxos and vox are also welcome =) The style I'm looking forward to is more of solo instrumental for everybody, so it'd be great if you know your stuff and can improvise and create original stuff! Well i hear stuff like planetshakers and hillsongs and a variety of other christian bands. In addition, I like shredding (melodically!) and i appreciate a variety of genres and bands from joe satriani, deep purple, GnR, ac/dc, bon jovi. For blues I like johnny winter, bluesbreakers, srv and the usual stuff... bTW i' more towards the lead side, though i'm also well-trained in the rhythmic aspect. I know bass, drums and have grade 8 piano, so yah hope you're quite assured! We have made 4 originals and we are right now thinking of doing our recording. We urgently need a bassist as our sessionist is leaving us as he is going back to his band. Our band genre is technical/melodic/death metal Our influences are: Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Arsis, The Faceless, Braindrill, Behemoth & Vital Remains. We feel that it may not be necessary for us to list down our influences here to find a match because if you love rock music and you love to rock, you are what we are looking for. Age-wise, not too old, not too young... between 18 to 28... but that's just a preference only.. the most important thing is that we can click together musically and personality-wise..
