Green Day are coming to Singapore!

Fans of Green Day will have something to look forward to next year – the live-wire trio will be making their way down to our sunny shores on 14 Jan for the 21st Century Breakdown World Tour! The band will be playing at the Indoor Stadium this time round (freeloaders are sure to be disappointed).

Together with bands like Rancid and Blink 182, Green Day was responsible for the revival of punk rock and creating the sub-genre of pop-punk in the 90s. While the band appeared to have faded in early 2000s after Warning , the band reestablished themselves with 2004’s widely acclaimed American Idiot .

As the band will be skipping Kuala Lumpur for Singapore, the tickets should be sold out really soon – afterall, this is the very first time we will be experiencing Green Day in the region…. so head over to sistic to get your tickets!
